Mars K. Cheung, Staff Scientist II: Mr. Cheung joined Natural Selection, Inc. in 2004 after receiving his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego in early 2004. Prior to his work at NSI, he was an Associate Technical Support Intern at Peregrine Systems for which he provided support for their flagship product, ServiceCenter®, and assisted with programming for customization of product modules for specific customer requirements.

He is currently involved in programming using evolutionary computation and neural networks with regards to bioinformatics research, specifically with RNA structure discovery, gene expression data, and small molecule activity prediction.
