Dr. Gary Fogel Takes Over as Editor-in-Chief of BioSystems
San Diego, CA - Dr. Gary Fogel, vice president of Natural Selection, Inc., becomes the new editor-in-chief of the Elsevier journal BioSystems today. He takes over for Dr. David Fogel, CEO of Natural Selection, Inc., who served as editor-in-chief for the previous eight years following the passing of the journal's long-standing managing editor Prof. Michael Conrad. "It was my great honor to be asked by Michael Conrad to guide BioSystems and I'm pleased we have been able to continue the interdisciplinary tradition of the journal that he was so proud of," said Dr. David Fogel. "I'm also so very pleased that Gary will be able to lead the journal forward from this point. He brings a unique experience of diverse facets of biological systems that I'm sure will serve BioSystems very well."
