Dr. David Fogel Contributes Chapter to New Book by Wiley-Interscience

San Diego, CA - Dr. David Fogel, president and CEO of Natural Selection, Inc., has contributed the first chapter in a new book titled Modern Heuristic Optimization Techniques: Theory and Applications to Power Systems. The book is edited by Prof. Kwang Y. Lee and Prof. Mohamed A. El-Sharkawi. Dr. Fogel's chapter "Introduction to Evolutionary Computation" provides an overview of evolutionary algorithms both in terms of mathematical theory and practical utility. The books contains information on an array of comptuational intelligence methods, including evolutionary computing, swarm intelligence, ant colony optimization, and others.
