Dr. Gary Fogel publishes new co-edited book “Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics” as part of the IEEE Press Series on Computational Intelligence
San Diego, CA Wiley-IEEE Press has published a new book titled "Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics," edited by Dr. Gary Fogel (Natural Selection, Inc.), David Corne (Heriot-Watt University), and Dr. Yi Pan (Georgia State University) as part of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Series. The book includes 13 chapters authored by international experts in various areas applying intelligent computing techniques to bioinformatics problems.
“I am hopeful that this book will assist the researcher who is new to either computational intelligence approaches or bioinformatics by demonstrating how both can be applied in such a wide variety of contexts,” said Dr. Fogel. “The book will help further bring together computer scientists and biologists and advance the state of the art in both fields.”
