Dr. Gary Fogel Guest Edits this Month's Issue of Soft Computing
La Jolla, CA Dr. Gary B. Fogel serves as one of the co-guest editors of this month's Soft Computing, a technical journal published by Springer that encourages the application of soft computing methods in real-world problem solving. The special issue entitled “Soft Computing for Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics” includes 15 papers from 35 authors and highlights the applications of soft computing technologies such as evolutionary algorithms, neural networks, and fuzzy logic to biology and medicine. The issue is co-edited by David Corne of the University of Exeter (United Kingdom), Jagath C. Rajapakse of Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), and Lipo Wang of Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
