Dr. David Fogel Receives 2004 IEEE Kiyo Tomiyasu Award

La Jolla, CA – Dr. David Fogel, CEO of Natural Selection, Inc.^®, has been recognized with the 2004 IEEE Kiyo Tomiyasu Award, one of the technical field awards of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The award honors outstanding early to mid-career contributions to technologies holding the promise of innovative applications. It is presented with a bronze medal, certificate, and cash honorarium. Dr. Fogel’s citation will read: “For outstanding contributions to the science and technology of computational intelligence and to the development and expansion of that field.” All IEEE Technical Field Award presentations are made by the IEEE President or designee. “I’m very grateful for this recognition and thank everyone in the IEEE who has given me such terrific encouragement over my years of involvement, as well as everyone at Natural Selection, Inc. who are always so very supportive.
