Dr. David Fogel Elected Vice President of Publications for IEEE Neural Networks Society

Honolulu, HI -- Dr. David Fogel, CEO of Natural Selection, Inc., was elected to the Executive Committee of the IEEE Neural Networks Society today. Dr. Fogel will take on the position of Vice President of Publications for the 2003-2004 term. “The IEEE Neural Networks Society publishes three of the best recognized journals in the fields of engineering and computer science,” said Dr. Fogel, who’s position will oversee the operations of the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, and the IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, for which Dr. Fogel serves as the founding editor-in-chief. “I’m looking forward to this new opportunity as my third and final term as editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation comes to a close this year,” said Dr. Fogel.
