Dr. David Fogel Presents Blondie24 Talk at Boston Museum of Science October 5, 2001

Boston, MA -- Dr. David Fogel, chief executive officer of Natural Selection, Inc.^Ò, presented two talks today at the Boston Museum of Science on his new book, Blondie24: Playing at the Edge of AI, published by Morgan Kaufmann Publishers, Inc. "This was a great opportunity to share Blondie24 with a very interested group of people of all ages," said Dr. Fogel. More than 20 people tried their hands at beating Blondie24, with their games being played over the big screens in the museum. Dr. Fogel will next appear at the New York Hall of Science on October 6, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Blondie24 is an evolutionary program that taught itself to play checkers at a level that's competitive with human experts.
