Dr. David Fogel Guest Edits this Month's Proc. of the IEEE
La Jolla, CA: Dr. David B. Fogel serves as one of the co-guest
editors of this month's Proceedings of the IEEE, the flagship technical
journal of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The
journal has a circulation of over 20,000 readers. The special issue is
dedicated to computational intelligence, which includes the technologies
of evolutionary computation, neural networks, and fuzzy logic. The issue
contains a series of papers that highlight the synergies that arise from
combining these approaches toward machine intelligence. The issue is
co-edited by Prof. Toshio Fukuda of Nagoya University (Japan) and Prof.
Ling Guan of the University of Sydney (Australia).
