Dr. Lawrence J. Fogel Publishes New Book

La Jolla, CA: Dr. Lawrence J. Fogel's new book Intelligence Through Simulated Evolution, published by John Wiley, is now available through Amazon.com and other booksellers. This book, Dr. Fogel's first in two decades, not only reviews the seminal contributions of his pioneering book Artificial Intelligence through Simulated Evolution (Wiley, 1966) but reviews efforts in evolutionary programming from 1970 to the present day in a range of application areas including signal processing, clustering, route planning, control and gaming. The book is part of John Wiley's Intelligent Systems Series, edited by Dr. James Albus (NIST), Dr. Alex Meystel (NIST), and Prof. Lotfi Zadeh (U.C. Berkeley).
