Dr. David B. Fogel Gives Keynote Lecture at JCIS'98

Durham, NC: Dr. David Fogel offered a keynote lecture today at the Joint Conference on Information Sciences, a collection of important symposia and workshops on topics ranging from fuzzy systems to evolutionary computation. Dr. Fogel's lecture "Complex Systems or Complex Solutions?" provided new data regarding economic systems which illustrates that complex phenomena do not always require complex explanations.
