Dr. David B. Fogel Honorary Co-chair of 6th Fuzzy Days Conf.

La Jolla, CA -- Dr. David B. Fogel was recognized for his contributions to evolutionary computation by being named an honorary co-chair for the 6th Fuzzy Days Conference to be held May 25-27, 1999 in Dortmund, Germany. The conference is an international meeting on computational intelligence techniques, including fuzzy, neural, and evolutionary computation. Serving with Dr. Fogel as honorary co-chairs are professors T. Kohonen (Finland), Z. Pawlak (Poland), and L. Zadeh (USA). The proceedings of the conference, chaired by Prof. Bernd Reusch, will be published by Springer as part of their Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
